JOB DESCRIPTION

Reginald's Coffee is hiring a part-time Barista to prepare to work in the cafe. Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, and operating the register. Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years experience as a barista or working at a cafe. Looking for someone who can work 2-3 shifts per week with weekday and weekend availably. Must have customer service experience, an eagerness to learn, friendly personality, positive attitude, and works well as part of a team! Please do not apply is looking for seasonal work.

Job Type:

Part-time

16 - 25 hours  per week

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions with a friendly attitude

• Take orders with attention to detail

• Prepare drinks following recipes to assure our high quality drink standards

• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) with our POS system (Square)

• Keep the bar area clean

• Maintain stock

• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs

• Comply with health and safety regulations

• Communicate customer feedback to managers

• Basic math skills

• Standing for 6-8 hours and lifting up to 30 pounds

 

Schedule:

• 7 or 8 hour shift

• Day shift

• Monday to Friday 6:30 am - 2:30pm

• Weekend availability 7:30am - 2:30pm
