JOB DESCRIPTION
Reginald's Coffee is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily
operations of our bustling cafe. In the player/coach role of the Cafe Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to quality, customer service, and community engagement. You will lead a team of passionate baristas, ensuring that every customer experience reflects our values of warmth, knowledge, and excellence. Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years experience as a barista or working at a cafe in a leadership role. Must have customer service experience, an eagerness to learn, friendly personality, positive attitude, and an empathetic heart to lead the team!

Responsibilities​

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of baristas by setting clear expectations,
providing ongoing training and development opportunities, and fostering a positive and
collaborative work environment -
Customer Service: Uphold our high standards of customer service by personally
engaging with customers, addressing inquiries and feedback, and ensuring that every
guest leaves satisfied -
Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the cafe, including opening and closing procedures, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and organization

Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control of coffee preparation, ensuring
that all beverages served meet our standards of excellence

Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs

Comply with health and safety regulations

Communicate with the owners

Basic math skills

Standing for 6-8 hours and lifting up to 30 pounds

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or coffee industry, with a
strong understanding of cafe operations and customer service excellence is preferred -
Passion for coffee and a desire to share knowledge and enthusiasm with both customers
and staff -
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a
diverse team -
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and
prioritize in a fast-paced environment -
Flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work weekends and holidays as
needed -
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred
Schedule:

7 or 8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday 6:30 am - 2:30pm

Weekend availability 7:30am - 2:30pm
